Jessica recently contacted me to re-design her ‘Rise & Shine Remedial Massage Therapy’ company branding. She had asked for a more professional and sophisticated design whilst incorporating the signature sunflower icon to the new branding.

For this new design I have changed the handwritten logo text and secondary text which was Myriad Variable Concept Light Condensed to Quicksand Regular and Medium typeface. I think this new typeface suits the new design aesthetic than the original handwritten one as it carries a modern and professional feel. The addition of the flower petals above each letter ‘I’ gives this typeface some character and creativity which is also expressed through Jessica and her work.

I have also adjusted the design of the sunflower icon to create more depth and contrast without being too busy and hard to view when downsized onto smaller forms of product branding.
