Rock ‘n’ Rolls was an assignment I completed in my Graphic Design Diploma course at Hornsby TAFE 2022.

We were asked to produce a bakery company branding, logo, menu, uniform and takeaway packaging with the name , theme and design all free choice.  I chose to call my bakery Rock ‘n’ Rolls a take on the 1950’s rock n roll era.

I wanted the colours of my bakery to fit with the 1950s pastel theme seen at the time. I made sure these colours were also gender neutral to attract everyone to my bakery business.

I chose the Rocket Script font as it reminded me of the old Chevrolet Impala logo, and I believe suited my bakery theme perfectly. I have designed all of the illustrations on my menu, packaging and uniforms free hand with a 1950s retro flare. I also produced the bakery product images and hand crafted the clear box, milkshake and food props.
